"Wake up! Wake up! Ragweed were lost," Yelled a young man named Creal. Ragweed an adult (Creal's master) then replied sleepily "well how are we lost we just fell asleep." I do not know quite yet Sir that's why I awoke you to help me. "Well good choice, I wouldn't want my student to run off and get hurt. Then who who would bring me tea in the morning?" Laughed Ragweed at his own joke. Ragweed then got serious and said well your not going to find out were we are or how we got her standing here now are we?" "Not Sir" replied Creal. "Where's my bag I need to get something." "What do you need?" "For now I don' really know I hoped I'd find something rifling through it." Said Ragweed.

In a clearing amidst the trees there stood a man, cloaked in black and gray. It was a complexion of robes that swayed in the gentle breeze, yet beneath the hood was a piercing frozen stare. In his left hand was a blood stained Katar, (punching dagger) and the other was free- for whatever it pleased it would do. He reached up and removed his hood and the smelled the fresh air,
"Is it night?" he asked himself but no answer came, his skin was so pale it was almost gray, and his black hair hung long down, almost to his shoulders and then he stopped. There was strange sent on the wind, and he turned northward. "Humans? or... humaniods?" his tongue licked his dry lips and he bent down and cleaned the katar on the grass. "I haven't hunted in a while... maybe they will prove to be good prey..." he then began to briskly jog over wherever the people he smelled where. His name was lost in time... a dark name, not often seen by mortals, and if seen, only once and no more.
The wind whispered it in the fear of tavern goers and legend tellers... he was Dren Ith...

Ragweed and Creal heard a strange sound. "Ragweed do you hear that ?" whispered Creal. "Yes" replied Ragweed in also a whisper." It sounds like someone is moving toward us" said the young apprentice. "It's moving fast too" replied Ragweed. "L...l....l...let's get out of hear" stuttered Creal "I don't want to find out what is coming." His master (Ragweed) agreed. Should I tell him about the legend? I don't know if were there. Thought Ragweed to himself.

Dren stopped within the trees just where the travelers were sitting. He smiled, but then he paused and thought about why they were here.
"They seem so purposeless..." he stated to himself, and then sheathed his Katar... "Maybe I'll give them a bit of direction..." he then emerged from the forest, and slowly approached them.
"Good travelers, what is your purpose... in this fine, stretch of woods?"

"I was just about to ask you the same thing Dren Ith" said a pale man with a long sword sheath at his right and a double sword scabbard at his left. On his back hung what looked like a goat horn bow obviously made with much skill with a quiver holding at least 25 to 30 arrow.
"I have been tracking for a long time now. I was wondering how was someone so skilled so blind to any pursuers. What is your purpose here? he said in a gruff but firm voice. As he pulled out his his bow and took 5 arrows from his quiver and one from his boot. He shot all five arrows in 5 seconds in such a fluid motion you would think he was made of water. Three hit the tree in a perfect triangle and the other two on side tree. The one from his boot he aimed way up in the tree but it landed in the middle of the triangle. "Know you know not to mess with me." as he just stood there as if he was about to fall asleep.

Dren could only smile at the new appearance of the hunter who had been tracking him, and then he chuckled, but it was brief. "You can't kill me... if that is what your after..." he said idly, keeping the smile, his katar was in his hand, yet nobody had noticed him removing it from its sheath.
This character is more amusing than tormenting these poor souls... haha! I think I will having fun with this archer... oh, I wonder what would've happened if one of those had hit me... what would he think then... I can't bear this excitement is too great! he thought biting his lower lip so his smile would vanish and a stream of blood gushed down his chin and his mood shifted, something told him that if he was serious, he could win against this hunter, but what fun was that? He wanted to know if this new person was really as good as he thought he was.
"You know, if you go just a half mile that way you'll find out just how blind I am to pursuers..." he taunted, there was no sense in minding the fools who sought him, he was a wanted criminal after all... he had killed more men than anyone else he had encountered.
"Do you intend to fight me, hunter?" he asked then.

"Good your smart. I wouldn't want to fight a person that doesn't know 2+2, it would feel like killing a baby" said the pale man mockingly as he picked his arrows out of the trees."You may think you are wise strong now but i guarantee you that you haven't had a battle like this in a long time" he said as he put away his bow and took out his sword. The sword was blood red with an emerald green hilt
"Now you two, I would get out of here if i were you. This is going to get pretty ugly" said the man smirking. "By the way if your wondering who I am, I am Loonith."

Dren wasn't interesting in this man who spoke of wisdom as young men do. It was clear that his mind was wrapped more around the battle than any reason behind it. This made Dren a bit annoyed, because when your the most notorious of all the land, there is no need to get angry over anything.
"Tell me, Loonith, why is it that you want to fight me? If you can give me no answer, I can not fight fairly against you..." he said with a serious expression on his face...

"Why are you telling me to leave Loonith?" "For you do not know who i am, and my powers." Ragweed said in an almost angry voice. "I am Ragweed and I am a Mage and have been for several years now." "I have learned to stop time, you shall not tell me when to leave" said Ragweed seriously.
"So there for I will not leave on your command, nor on anyone's but myself." "I will also fight, against you Dren." "I have been waiting along time to fight this fight." said Ragweed with a smirk. Creal suddenly yelled "No master do not fight, this Dren character." "No I must" said Ragweed. "For I need to wipe him of the history's so no one will know his name." "He does not deserve it for all the lives he has brutally taken" said Ragweed angrily." "No one like that deserves it" he added. This is my destiny, and I intend to fulfill it truthfully and responsibly." "I may not know how I got here but I think it was to destroy you Dren." Ragweed proudly. He pulled out a strange staff, and as he did so you could see a glimmer of a broadsword. Which he was skilled in also. The same glimmer could be seen on his smile. It was as if he just received the best opportunity possible. Ragweed said sternly "are you ready?"

"Yes... but I must warn you, time magic isn't going to work on me..." he said. This was getting interesting, they did not know his secret... of course if they managed to over power him they would only be severely disappointed, of course, their disappointment would only come after they had long died... he had only met one person who had actually killed him, but of course that person resurrected him because if Dren had truly died, so would he...so would he...
not wanting to wait for them to strike at him, and being at a disadvantage, he flashed, faster than anything conceivable. His feet stuck against the base of the tree and wrapped his Katar around Creal's neck. "Your out of your league kid, and you are only going to weigh down your master..." he then looked at Ragweed, he might have heard of him before... of course he had heard of Ragna, the knight of time, but he had never heard of this mage- who claimed to master time. "I can strike your pupil dead before you even think of reverting time!" he said loudly.

"Not so fast Dren" said Loonith. Already had his bow in hand and an arrow knocked. he shot one arrow to his left then in less than a second arrow came whizzing by his left. Then another came faster than before. This was a clear miss or so it seemed. Right before it passed Dren it tilted down going straight to his heart. Then 2 more on each side of him came so he was trapped. "Looks like this might just be the end Dren" he laughed although knowing he was just proving his skill and nothing else. Dren could easily dodge them.

Dren's eyes adjusted to Loonith's new speed, as the shafts came closer to his body. However he didn't even bother dodging them, instead he left them hit his robes, embedding into his heart, or as Loonith thought- the image of Dren exploded into a pool of blood all over Creal enveloping him. There was no body, the arrows that struck Dren were now in the tree that he was standing on.
Then the master criminal came from behind another tree...there was a smile on his face, unlike his previous expression. "ketsueki no bunshin... a move that is rare, only three people besides me in the world possess it..." he said calmly raising his Katar, as the blood of his ketsueki no bunshin, slowly moved off with the helpless student.

"Where he gohe couldn't have died so easily"He knew his skill was great, but he just faked his own death and his most likely about to use his legendary move on him right now. He put away his bow and ran to get his arrows from the tree. As he pulled out his sword he noticed the body behind a tree near him. He ran back to Creal and said "distract him while i hide and shoot. Just don't get in my way. These arrows will pierce you like a spear piercing water" said Loonith. he jumped up and was gone hidden way up in a tree behind Dren.

"precisely... much like a spear upon water, it will hide where the true target lies..." he loved out ignorant Loonith was of Ragweed's student, if they didn't save the boy, Dren would simply have to kill him, and make use of his body.

Ragweed in a matter of seconds ran to Creal. His speed and agility was so great Creal thought he was lifted of the ground. He told him "get out of here without being noticed during the battle." stated Ragweed. He then charged up with his broadsword and stuck. He purposely missed him for an even faster struck. It cut the bottom of his robe a few inch's. Ragweed saw the creatures feet and realized he wasn't human. He then remembered something else he forgot about.
"So you thought you could keep you secret for ever, or at least not remind me" said Ragweed. "It is you destiny bond, I kill you I too will die" said Ragweed laughing for some reason. "You think that will stop me from killing you I'm a mage." "Time is only one of many things I have mastered, including living for eternity" said Ragweed. He took out his staff and mumbled something. He flew up several feet of the ground. He then lunged with no one knowing it. The sword seemed to bounce off Dren. Ragweed looked at his face and saw nothing. He realized Dren was also a mage of equal or greater power.

Dren looked oddly at Ragweed for a moment, "there is no way you can win, your are just as foolish as him..." he said pointing at Loonith, he didn't move at all during this sequence, and his eyes weren't focused on anything, this mage knew nothing of Dren or his powers, he wasn't even learned in the ways of magic- he was born of it, and it came naturally to him, but it wasn't his profession.
His hand then went up to his face, and let out a depressing sigh, "Its like fighting children... you have no purpose... no purpose fighting me... you wont even give a reason to fight, I am too unmotivated to continue this much longer..." he stated closing his eyes and leaning against the tree.

As he was sitting up in the tree, Loonith tied a rope to one of his arrows. He grabbed the other in and shot the arrow as quietly as possible. When it hit the tree he tied the other end two one of the arrows in his boot. he took out a green vile and dipped the arrow tip into it.
As he shot the arrow it did as he had planned. The rope took the arrow directly to Dren. "I have already told you my purposes of fighting you Dren" said Loonith as he unshethed his two knives and expertly threw them on either side of Dren. Then he jumped down unsheathing his longsword and landed 20 feet behind silently.

Once more Loonith's arrow struck in the back of Dren and he stood there for a while, and then he slumped down to one knee. He then smiled, he still could not understand why these people wanted to fight him so badly... and on such unfair terms. As the two knives approached him, they too struck him, and then he fell flat on his face.
He must have used poison... or something... oh well... he thought to himself, he would feel better if they thought they had won instead of keeping a stupid game. For that was all it was to Dren, two fools and some kid- they weren't even close to his skill level, and playing with children wasn't something that kept his time. They do not know the full strength of ketsueki no bunshin, and that will be their downfall...

Mia had gotten lost in the forest, like most of her life- she was always trying to find her way back to someplace, yet she always ended up somewhere else, getting even more lost. Now, in her twenties, and quite a practicing cleric, she devoted herself to nature and the art of druidism. She was robed in a white silk dress, and she held a ash-wood staff that held a crystal in the end of it. Her keen eyes were always looking out for anything, and her slightly pointed ears indicated that she was a tad less human than others. She often held up her light brown hair under a cowl to defend against the weather that sometimes hindered her travels. She thought it was a lovely day, but the forest was so dark, that she wasn't even sure what time of day it was. So she decided to sing, to commemorate her newest venture.
Oh flowers a' rose is more sweet, in the rain... in the rain... the little shrew doesn't know... in the land where savory ferns grow... in the rain... in the rain...
she then stopped her song when she heard a battle, she thought it was due south, but knowing that her sense of direction wasn't the best, she deduced that it was more likely westward. So she moved, ever so cautiously forward, when she saw a young boy laying on the ground wounded...
"Are you alright?" she asked rushing foward, putting a hand on his forehead.
((The boy is Creal by the way... I hope that is fine with you ))

"I still don't think he died like last time" said Loonith. "I think he thinks that it is pointless to fight us because he isn't trying" said Loonith. "We should get out of here before he wants to fight.

Creal suddenly was startled bye the gentle touch. "Who are you" He asked? "What are you doing here in the middle of the battle?" Were are you from?" He continued. his head was filled with question of the battle and this mysterious girl by him. Ragweed then said, "I have decided not to fight Dren I will fight him as I grow even stronger" toward Creal. He looked up in amazement, but I thought it was your destiny." "It is but not now."
"We must go, but I think this girl is a healer." "What is your name?" Ragweed questioned. Creal suddenly felt a serge of pain on his neck and realized he had been cut by the katar. He jerked upright. Blood was all over the front of him. The girl had something on his ccut that stung it badly. Creal was sure it would help though.

Dren was watching them now, and he looked at the girl who had showed up. He was slightly bewildered, of course- he hadn't sensed in till she was right at Creal's side.
How did she do that? I couldn't even sense her! he thought darkly, but he let it slide and slowly disappeared into the darkness of the forest, always keeping a steady eye on them.

"There, be still for a while..." she said applying the salve to the boy's wound. "Shh...rest for a while..." she soothed him, urging him to sleep and then she looked up, seeing someone else question her. "My name is Mia Ret, and I am just a wanderer..." she said quietly, "You really shouldn't bring such a youth into a battle! He could've been killed!" she said scolding the apparent mage.
"Now I have told you who I am, now who are you?" she asked, less serious, hoping to help out the wounded as best as possible, she was quite oblivious to who they were fighting, or how dangerous he was, and this made her seem more relaxed and confidant.

"I am a cleric, and of my skill I do not know or care- there are more important things in life than being the strongest, or the most powerful... there is a value to life..." she said looking down at Creal, "This poor boy could've been killed because all you two care about is fighting... and from the looks of it, you weren't being very careful about it." she said scolding them harshly, she had a feeling that they weren't traveling together, the mage seemed to be more connected with the boy, and the archer just seemed like a random soldier among the trees.
"I already told you who I am, huh... pay more attention next time!" she crossly, and than sighed, "Might as well make rest here for now... he wont be better for a while I'm afraid..."

Mia wouldn't hear any of the hunters excuses and seated herself in the grass. She knew close to nothing of Dren Ith, or his power- clearly, she couldn't think of any reason why Dren would bother attacking these innocent people. But she did know close to nothing of the matter.
"I am going to rest here..." she stated, as if it mattered to the others at all.

"All right. I guess i will be going then"said Loonith as he jumped into the trees and was gone. I must find a kingdom. I need to have a purpose. but first I have to get out of this dreaded forest he thought. He pulled out his broadsword and started slashing at the tree branches as he jumped from tree to tree. He knew this forest was big but not how big. Loonith saw a clearing in the trees up ahead. He went into it and found that he was in a giant field. He must have gone the wrong way. He turned around and went through the trees where he came.

Dren then emerged from behind a large tree- his gaunty features were etched into his face, and held forth his Katar in front of him on the offensive. Loonith was now seperated from Ragweed, Creal, and most importantly, that strange girl- who irked him, and Dren was not easily startled. "Now is it time to finish our fight..." he said, knowing that Loonith wouldn't be able to win in a one on one match up. "If you dare..."

"Dren" Loonith said disgusted. "If i you are so bad then why do you think that it was unfair before"said Loonith. He jumped up into the trees behind Dren. Loonith took out his arrows. He dipped 5 arrows into the green vile. Then he put the cork back on it and used an arrow from his boot and put the whole vile onto it. Loonith shot 1 arrow then another then in less than 2 seconds all five arrows were shot. Loonith pulled out his knives and threw both of them at Dren after dipping them in heavy doses of poison. He then took his arrow with the vile on it and shot it aiming right at his face. he jumped down from the tree his broadsword already in hand and rushed with un-humanly speed at Dren. at the last second he jumped and shot the rest of the four arrows from his boots at Dren. He moved in air so he didn't land on him. Loonith lunged at Dren with such speed that he could have been in broad daylight and you wouldn't be able to see him. At the last second when he was an inch from his chest he thought dren was done for. Loonith was ready to dodge his own arrows if dren moved but he shoulnd't have time i have all of the places he can go completely blocked off.
